A blessed Lent
- 2025/03/05 -

Violet, the color of conversion, penance and reflection, traditionally characterizes the period between Ash Wednesday and Easter in the church year. The colorful hustle and bustle of Mardi Gras or Carnival with its exuberant happiness gives way to moments of peace and contemplation and shows us the way out of the darkness of lost humanity to the light of the resurrection that was promised to us through Christ's death on the cross. It is up to us to shape these days in a way that suits them.
Our chapel of St. Charles reflects the appeal associated with this time through its altar decorations to be ready for an inner reorientation.
